                                 Hayden/Pettit

       In December, 1987 I received  a  family  group chart from Eleanor
       AVEN  (see  query).  On it she states that  the  information  was
       obtained  from the "Will of Jacob from Gloria Cartwright, 3815 N.
       Cool Rd., Lima, OH 45801". She then adds, "Her ancestor came from
       Jacob's 2nd marriage. I believe she found Elijah PETTIT's will in
       Pa. prob. Westmoreland Co."

       Husband's  Full Name: Jacob HAYDEN; born 8 December 1771; married
       1790, Westmoreland Co.,  PA; died 1 April 1836; buried McNaughton
       Cemetery  Muskingum  County, OH.; married second  Letitia  PRATT;
       father: Nathaniel HAYDEN.

       Wife's  Full  Name:  Nancy  Jane  PETTIT;  born  1768; died 1810,
       Westmoreland Co., PA; parents: Elijah and Leah (HUGHES) PETTIT.
